Barbara Winton R.S.Hom
I have been in practice as a Homeopath since 1984 when I qualified from the London College of Homoeopathy with a Licentiate.
In 1985 after one years post graduate training I obtained Membership of the College (M.C.H.). In 1987
I became registered with
the Society of Homeopaths (R.S.Hom), the main registering body for professional Homeopaths in the
U.K.
Over the last 25 years I have worked for a GP surgery and a Family Centre providing homeopathy to their patients. I have
worked for three years at Breast Cancer Haven, a charity which offers free complementary therapy treatments to all suffering from
breast cancer, either during or after their conventional treatment.
I am a member of Homeopathy for All, a local charity set up to provide homeopathy for disadvantaged groups through community
organisations. My next position for HfA is at Herefordshire MIND, which supports those with mental health problems.
I have also spent the last 16 years in homeopathic education, being a tutor and lecturer at the London School of Classical
Homoeopathy. In the past I have taught on courses in Eastern Europe.
Currently I offer supervision to homeopathic students during their clinical training.
At present I am developing my interest in Nutrition by undertaking an MSc in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester.
I have experience of treating people with a wide range of health problems across the whole age range, from treating babies and
pregnant women, to children, teenagers, adults and the elderly.
If you would like to discuss with me whether I feel that I may be able to help you, do telephone or email me for a general chat. It
is always my intention to offer down-to-earth assessments of what homeopathy might be able to achieve and if I feel another
therapy would be more effective, then I will always suggest it.
The Society of Homeopaths monitors standards of practice, has a Code of Ethics and complaints procedure that all registered
members abide by and provides members with professional insurance. All of these factors support the practitioner in providing the
highest standard of service to the public.
